Farm Fresh Deliveries

Israel is known around the world for having some of the best fruits and vegetables out there. Passover is the perfect time to cook at home with this fantastic produce and we want to make sure you are set up with some great options to get your vitamins and nutrients.

Many farms are going through tough times as they have an abundance of produce that is not going to restaurants, hotels, and events spaces.

If you have already ordered your fill of Israeli fruits and veggies, check out our posts on where to buy groceries online or our favorite vendors from our market tours who are still delivering.

Chubeza

This organic vegetable farm has made a name for itself in recent years by offering one of the most reliable CSA (community-supported agriculture) boxes out. Chubeza offers “subscriptions” to its farms and boxes in two sizes packed to the brim with just-picked fruits and vegetables selected based on peak freshness. Because of their location in between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Chubeza has the benefit of a wide delivery area that includes Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and surrounding areas. Bonus points for their great English-friendly website!

Meshek Havivian

Meshek Havivian checks all the boxes - organic, family-owned, local, and sustainable. This farm is located near Ashkelon, and has for years been delivering CSA (community-sustained agriculture) boxes of their incredibly fresh produce to homes and delivery points around the country. If you’ve wanted to do this for a while, now is a perfect opportunity to get your fresh produce safely and while supporting a local business. Customers receive a choice of two sizes of baskets of the freshest produce and are able to make some changes to the weekly boxes based on their personal preferences. Highly recommended! Deliveries in central and southern Israel.

Carmella

Carmella is one of our favorite produce vendors in the Carmel Market. For years, unlike many other produce-sellers in the market, they’ve offered online efficient deliveries that leave their top-quality products just outside your door. They’re one of the most reliable places to get harder-to-find veggies and fruits like limes, black garlic and bok choy. Like many other businesses, Carmella has expanded in the wake of coronavirus, and they are now offering deliveries of the most delicious baked goods from Tel Aviv’s legendary Bakery bakery (yes, that’s its name!). Everything they make is delicious, but our strongest recommendation goes out to their chocolate babka. Treat yourself - you deserve it. Order online at their website.

Shookit

Shookit is another great delivery service that ensures you don’t need to show up at the shuk (market) to get your fill of farm-fresh veggies. We love their easy-to-use website and super fast delivery. Their website also features dry products such as spices from Tavlinsky at Levinsky Market. Ever the innovators, they’re also featuring a special ‘quarantine’ section of dry products and have expanded to selling hand sanitizer, thermometers and face masks - truly a one-stop shop in these strange times!

ASHI

ASHI is a farm that typically does not sell to the public, but rather to restaurants and cafes. They can deliver next day in some cases. To order, contact by email ashiveg@gmail.com or by phone/Whatsapp 052 537 4735. There is a 170 shekels minimum and 20 shekel delivery fee. Let them know Delicious Israel sent you and they may throw in something nice! :)
